How does resampling function work?

Resample an audio file it means recalculate the resolution and bitdepth of an audio file in order to have a more accurate digital file to convert to analog.

Volumio allows to resample any type of local file, stored on USB HDD, SSD, NAS.

To be sure of the final audio resolution, check on your DAC display. Volumio doesn’t show the resampled audio resolution, the player shows the native file resolution.

Make sure your DAC supports the resampled file resolution.

Note: DSD native files can be resampled to PCM format.
